WOLT DofE Centres

A WOLT DofE Centre is an evening meeting group which offers access to the Duke of Edinburgh's Award at Bronze, Silver and Gold levels to all young people between the ages of 13 and 25. These centres are essential to the Wiltshire DofE community as they provide an alternative to school DofE groups which may not suit all young people. They also provide opportunities for young people who are not in education, are home educated or in employment, up to the age of 25. A fantastic group of volunteer DofE Leaders provide a high quality experience across the county.

WOLT has recently taken over the licence to run and manage these centres from Wiltshire Council, and is committed to keeping the DofE Award accessible to all.

There are 5 Open Award Centres in Wiltshire - currently they are based in

  • Amesbury
  • Chippenham
  • Marlborough/Devizes
  • Trowbridge
  • Royal Wootton Bassett
